Wireless network for connecting digital cylinders and Smart Relays to a central computer. Data is transmitted via 868 MHz. All of the subassemblies are supplied in plastic casings. LockNodes are battery-operated; routers and CentralNodes require external power supplies.

Now with the following new features:
50% greater range at 868 MHz
100% longer battery life
Parallel task handling

The WaveNet software: the locking system is controlled and managed from a central computer.
The WaveNet Central Node: this is connected to the computer via an RS232 / USB
port and allows the computer to communicate securely and in encrypted form with all
of the other subassemblies via radio or cable.
The WaveNet Router Node: The Router node communicates with all WaveNet Lock
nodes and WaveNet Router nodes within is communication range. By using radio based
WaveNet Router nodes the radio signal can be boosted to cover other areas via radio.
Router nodes can also be used as an interface (RS485) for a hardwired backbone solution.
The WaveNet Lock node: this is fitted next to the SimonsVoss component, which is to
be networked, and will then communicate with it via the tried-and-tested B-field interface.

PRODUCT VERSIONS:

  • WaveNet CentralNode with either an RS485 port or an 868 MHz radio port and external antenna.
  • All WaveNet RouterNodes are equipped with connection terminals for an external plug-in power supply.
  • WaveNet RouterNode as a repeater, either with 868 MHz radio module and external transceiver antenna or with two RS485 ports.
  • WaveNet RouterNode as a converter from RS485 port to 868 MHz, for using the RouterNode as a backbone, with external transceiver antenna.
