Q3008 integrates seamlessly into existing SimonsVoss locking systems, because
the ID assigned to each fingerprint can also be used for all other SimonsVoss locking
components. This allows digital locking cylinders, Smart Relays, furniture locks, half cylinders,
lever locks, shunt locks and cabinet handles to be activated by fingerprint recognition.
The reader can store up to 50 different fingerprints and can be mounted on a plaster wall
without the need for cables.
The Q3007 is a transponder that also detects the user’s fingerprint. Up to six different
fingerprints can be stored in the memory. The first two fingerprints are treated as Master
Fingers, and they must be used to authorise the teaching in of other fingerprints. The
Q3007 is battery-powered, and one battery lasts for up to 5,000 activations. The transponder
can also be authorised for a time-limited ‘on’ state, during which period doors can
be opened, simply by pressing the button.
